Sensex up 108pts; market breadth extremely -ve

The Sensex opened in green at 10,105, and then slipped into the negative zone to a low of 10,011.

Continued buyin in early trades led the index rally to a high of 10,225 - up 213 points from the day's low. The index is now up 108 points at 10,179.

The market breadth is extremely negative - out of 1,496 stocks traded so far, 1,125 have declined, 347 have advanced and 24 are unchanged.
