Sensex up 109pts; ACC soars 4%

The Sensex is now up 109 points at 13,578.

ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and SBI have rallied around 4% each to Rs 915, Rs 1,120 and Rs 1,223, respectively.

ACC has soared 4% (Rs 39) to Rs 1,059, and Gujarat Ambuja has moved up 2.3% to Rs 140. Grasim has added 1.4% to Rs 2,745.

Satyam has gained 1.4% at Rs 433.

Reliance Energy and ONGC have slipped 1% each to Rs 520 and Rs 873, respectively.

Out of 2,474 stocks traded so far, 1,281 have advanced, 1,106 have declined and 87 are unchanged.
