Sensex up 109pts; Hindalco, Satyam gain 2%

The Sensex is now up 109 points at 13,540.

Reliance Energy (REL) has surged 2.8% to Rs 530. Hindalco, Bharti Airtel and Satyam have advanced around 2% each to Rs 175, Rs 616 and Rs 449, respectively.

TCS and Maruti have surged 1.7% each to Rs 1,133 and Rs 884, respectively.

Wipro, Dr.Reddy's, Gujarat Ambuja and ACC are up around 1.5% each at Rs 563, Rs 734, Rs 136 and Rs 1,072, respectively.

Infosys has slipped over 1% to Rs 2,228.

Out of 2,262 stocks traded so far, 1,675 have advanced, 520 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
