Sensex up 10pts; Maruti rallies 2%

The Sensex is now up 10 points at 14,193.

Maruti rebounded from the day's low of Rs 894, and has now rallied over 2% to Rs 930.

Infosys and BHEL have gained around 1.5% each at Rs 2,240 and Rs 2,305, respectively.

TCS, Tata Steel, ACC and ITC are up 1% each at Rs 1,313, Rs 472, Rs 1,116 and Rs 177, respectively.

Satyam has dropped 3.5% to Rs 471. Ranbaxy has shed 1.7% to Rs 408.

HDFC Bank has slipped 1.4% to Rs 1,051. Gujarat Ambuja and Reliance Energy are down 1% each to Rs 147 and Rs 510, respectively.

Out of 2,643 stocks traded so far, 1,459 have advanced, 1,123 have declined and 61 are unchanged.
