Sensex up 10pts; NTPC soars 3%

The Sensex is now up 10 points at 15,475.

NTPC has soared 3% to Rs 187. Cipla has surged 2.4% to Rs 184.

Tata Steel has moved up 1.3% to Rs 691. Grasim, ICICI Bank and Wipro are up 1% each at Rs 3,052, Rs 914 and Rs 471,  respectively.

Maruti has slipped 2.2% to Rs 874. Bharti Airtel has dropped 1.5% to Rs 847.  

Larsen & Toubro is down 1% at Rs 2,595.
