Sensex up 112pts; HUL soars 5%

The Sensex is now up 112 points at 15,677.

BHEL has zoomed 5.7% to Rs 1,741, and Hindustan Unilever has soared 4.7% to Rs 203.

Bajaj Auto has rallied over 4% to Rs 2,422. Reliance Energy and Larsen & Toubro have surged 3.5% each to Rs 712 and Rs 2,557, respectively.

Satyam has gained 2.3% at Rs 489. NTPC has advanced 1.7% to Rs 157, and Hindalco has added 1.5% to Rs 185.

ONGC, HDFC Bank and Bharti Airtel are up over 1% each at Rs 898, Rs 1,215 and Rs 933, respectively.

Cipla has plunged 4.5% to Rs 192. Infosys has slipped over 2% to Rs 1,943. ICICI Bank has shed 1.4% to Rs 972.

Out of 2,662 stocks traded so far, 1,310 have advanced, 1,286 have declined and 66 are unchanged.
