Sensex up 114pts

The Sensex is now up 114 points at 11,733.

ITC has surged 2.5% to Rs 185.

BHEL, NTPC, Maruti and ONGC have advanced over 2% each to Rs 2,293, Rs 127, Rs 851 and Rs 1,221, respectively.

Reliance Communications has moved up 1.7% to Rs 305. ICICI Bank, Cipla, Infosys and Larsen & Toubro have added over 1% each to Rs 595, Rs 246, Rs 1,790 and Rs 2,438, respectively.

Grasim, HLL and Bharti Airtel are the only losers among the index stocks.

Out of 2,412 stocks traded so far, 1,481 have advanced, 855 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
