Sensex up 114pts; HLL, TCS soar 4%

The Sensex is now up 114 points at 10,723.

TCS and HLL have soared nearly 4% each to Rs 1,802 and Rs 238, respectively.

Reliance Communications has surged 2.7% to Rs 256. Infosys has rallied 2.5% to Rs 3,155.

SBI, ONGC, Tata Steel and ITC have gained around 2% each to Rs 742, Rs 1,129, Rs 543 and Rs 186, respectively.

Wipro and Grasim have dropped nearly 2% each to Rs 504 and Rs 1,898, respectively. HDFC Bank has slipped 1.5% to Rs 780.

Out of 2,395 stocks traded so far, 1,194 have advanced, 1,127 have declined and 74 are unchanged.
