Sensex up 114pts, tech stocks rally

The Sensex touched a high of 10,987 - up 218 points from the day's low of 10,769. The index is now up 114 points at 10,967.

Infosys has rallied 3.5% to Rs 3,070. Wipro has surged 2.8% to Rs 484. TCS and Satyam have gained around 2.5% each at Rs 1,893 and Rs 722, respectively.

Reliance has moved up 2% to Rs 976. Larsen & Toubro has added 1.7% to Rs 2,486.

Grasim is up 1.3% at Rs 1,910, and Hindalco has spurted over 1% to Rs 191.

Out of 2,332 stocks traded so far, 1,357 have advanced, 906 have declined and 69 are unchanged.
