Sensex up 115pts; ACC surges 3%

The Sensex is now up 115 points at 14,410.

ACC has surged 2.5% to Rs 865. Gujarat Ambuja and Tata Motors have rallied 1.8% each to Rs 115 and Rs 675, respectively.

ICICI Bank and Hindalco have advanced 1.5% each to Rs 959 and Rs 164, respectively.

Reliance Communications and Satyam have moved up 1.3% each to Rs 510 and Rs 475, respectively.

Grasim, HDFC and HDFC Bank are up over 1% each.

ONGC is the prominent loser at Rs 908.
