Sensex up 115pts; breadth fairly +ve

The Sensex is now up 115 points at 15,703.

The NSE Nifty is up 26 points at 4,736.

HDFC has surged over 4% to Rs 2,405. BHEL has rallied 2.5% to Rs 1,755.

Larsen & Toubro and Tata Steel have advanced over 2% each to Rs 2,640 and Rs 671, respectively.

Infosys, Reliance Energy and ICICI Bank have moved up over 1% each to Rs 1,480, Rs 1,164 and Rs 823, respectively.

DLF and Reliance are also up over 1% each at Rs 623 and Rs 2,408, respectively.

Maruti has slipped 1.6% to Rs 732. Hindustan Unilever and ITC have shed 1.3% each at Rs 244 and Rs 206, respectively.

Grasim and Satyam are down 1% each at Rs 2,535 and Rs 425, respectively.

The market breadth is extremely positive - out of 2,318 stocks traded so far, 1,633 have advanced, 625 have declined and 60 are unchanged.
