Sensex up 115pts; Hero Honda slips 2%

The Sensex is now up 115 points at 12,739.

BHEL has surged 4.7% to Rs 2,360. HDFC has advanced 3.3% to Rs 1,470.

NTPC and Dr.Reddy's have rallied around 2.5% each to Rs 158 and Rs 737,  respectively.

ICICI Bank and Bharti Airtel have moved up 1.7% each to Rs 818 and Rs 747, respectively. Cipla has added 1.4% to Rs 227.

Larsen & Toubro, Reliance Energy and HDFC Bank are up over 1% each to Rs 1,547, Rs 487 and Rs 923, respectively.

Hero Honda has dropped nearly 2% to Rs 646. Grasim has shed 1.7% to Rs 2,068.

Satyam and Reliance Communications are down around 1% each at Rs 453 and Rs 397, respectively.

Out of 2,397 stocks traded so far, 1,525 have advanced, 794 have declined and 78 are unchanged.
