Sensex up 119pts; Ambuja Cements soars 4%

The Sensex is now up 119 points at 14,987.

Ambuja Cements has soared 3.6% to Rs 131.

NTPC, HDFC, ACC and Tata Steel have surged around 2% each to Rs 168, Rs 1,985, Rs 1,020 and Rs 648, respectively.

BHEL and Hindustan Unilever have moved up 1.6% each to Rs 1,722 and Rs 199, respectively.

Hindalco, Ranbaxy and Reliance Communications are up over 1% each to Rs 153, Rs 372 and Rs 527, respectively.

Infosys has slipped over 1% to Rs 1,930.
