Sensex up 11pts; HLL, Ranbaxy perk up

The Sensex is now up 11 points at 11,583.

Larsen & Toubro and Hindalco have advanced 1.5% each to Rs 2,385 and Rs 175, respectively.

Ranbaxy, HLL and Grasim are up 1% each at Rs 394, Rs 239 and Rs 2,223, respectively.

Gujarat Ambuja and Reliance Energy are the other notable gainers.

Cipla has slipped 2% to Rs 242. HDFC has dropped 1.5% to Rs 1260.

Bajaj Auto is down 1% at Rs 2,726.

Out of 2,417 stocks traded so far, 1,359 have advanced, 960 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
