Sensex up 120pts; Hindalco slips 3%

The Sensex is now up 120 points at 14,311.

Bajaj Auto has rallied 4.4% to Rs 3,073, and Reliance Energy has advanced 3.3% to Rs 552.

Bharti Airtel and ONGC have surged nearly 3% each to Rs 750 and Rs 890, respectively.

Wipro, NTPC and Tata Motors have moved up around 2% each to Rs 643, Rs 147 and Rs 890, respectively.

Hindalco has tumbled over 3% to Rs 145. HDFC Bank has shed 1.5% to Rs 1,076.

HLL, ACC, ITC and Hero Honda are down 1% each at Rs 201, Rs 1,014, Rs 173 and Rs 721, respectively.

Out of 2,444 stocks traded so far, 1,562 have advanced, 832 have declined and 50 are unchanged.
