Sensex up 120pts; ONGC, Tata Motors lead

The Sensex is now up 120 points at 19,649.

Tata Motors has soared 4% to Rs 772, and ONGC has surged 3.3% to Rs 1,195.

Cipla and Hindalco have rallied 2% each to Rs 189 and Rs 198, respectively.

HDFC Bank and Larsen & Toubro have advanced 1.7% each to Rs 1,732 and Rs 4,300, respectively.

Bajaj Auto and Mahindra & Mahindra have gained 1.3% each at Rs 2,806 and Rs 782, respectively.

NTPC, Reliance Communications and Reliance are up over 1% each at Rs 242, Rs 721 and Rs 2,898, respectively.

ITC and Infosys have slipped 1% each to Rs 190 and Rs 1,597, respectively.

Out of 2,849 stocks traded so far, 2,115 have advanced, 682 have declined and 52 are unchanged.
