Sensex up 121pts; BHEL surges 4%

The Sensex is now up 121 points at 13,005.

BHEL has flared up nearly 4% to Rs 2,176. Grasim, Bajaj Auto and Gujarat Ambuja have surged around 2.5% each to Rs 2,120, Rs 2,550 and Rs 113, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro, Tata Motors and ACC have gained 1.7% each at Rs 1,508, Rs 769 and Rs 794, respectively.

ICICI Bank, Hindalco and NTPC are up around 1.5% each to Rs 873, Rs 130 and Rs 142, respectively.

Reliance Communications has slipped 1.8% to Rs 415.
