Sensex up 122pts; HDFC Bank advances 3%

The Sensex is up 122 points at 10,252.

HDFC Bank has advanced 3.3% to Rs 776. Hero Honda, Larsen & Toubro and Tata Motors have moved up over 2% each to Rs 776, Rs 2,116 and Rs 758, respectively.

Bharti Airtel and HDFC are up 2% each at Rs 370 and Rs 1,072, respectively.

NTPC has dropped 1.6% to Rs 107.

Out of 2,126 stocks traded so far, 1,281 have advanced, 779 have declined and 66 are unchanged.
