Sensex up 122pts; ITC sheds 3%

The Sensex is now up 122 points at 13,007.

Bharti Airtel and Wipro have surged nearly 3.5% each to Rs 776 and Rs 583, respectively. TCS has soared 3% to Rs 1,248.

HLL, BHEL and HDFC have surged over 2.5% each to Rs 188, Rs 2,150 and Rs 1,606, respectively.

ONGC and Larsen & Toubro have gained 1.8% each at Rs 795 and Rs 1,507, respectively. Hindalco and Maruti are up around 1.5% each at Rs 130 and Rs 799, respectively.

ITC has dropped nearly 3% to Rs 150. Reliance Communications and Gujarat Ambuja have slipped 1.5% each to Rs 416 and Rs 108, respectively.

Out of 2,283 stocks traded so far, 1,512 have advanced, 699 have declined and 72 are unchanged.
