Sensex up 122pts; Satyam, TCS zoom 6%

The Sensex is now up 122 points at 13,060.

Satyam and TCS have soared 6% each to Rs 438 and Rs 1,259, respectively. Wipro has zoomed over 4% to Rs 585, and Infosys has surged over 3% to Rs 2,146.

HDFC Bank and Reliance Communications have rallied nearly 5% each to Rs 977 and Rs 427, respectively.

ICICI Bank has flared up 2.7% to Rs 855. Tata Steel and Larsen & Toubro were up around 1.7% each to Rs 450 and Rs 1,511, respectively.

Gujarat Ambuja has shed 6.6% to Rs 108. ACC has crumbled 5.8% to Rs 848, and Grasim has shed 4% to Rs 2,125.

Dr.Reddy's has tumbled over 3% to Rs 655. Bajaj Auto and Hindalco have tumbled 2.7% each to Rs 2,546 and Rs 136, respectively.

Hero Honda and Cipla are down around 2% each to Rs 661 and Rs 229, respectively.

Out of 2,530 stocks traded so far, 1,613 have declined, 840 have advanced and 77 are unchanged.
