Ranbaxy has gained 5% to Rs 530 and L&T is trading 4% higher at Rs 3,006. Bhel has advanced 3% at Rs 1,648. HDFC is up 2.9% at Rs 2,503.
Hindalco is up 2.5% at Rs 194. Cipla has gained 1.9% at Rs 218. HDFC Bank, DLF and Bharti are trading over 1.5% at Rs 1,347, Rs 598 and Rs 872 respectively.
ONGC, Tata Steel, Grasim, NTPC, ITC and HUL are all trading over 1%.
ICICI Bank has lost 1.5% to Rs 785, Reliance and Ambuja cements have declined 1.5% to Rs 2, 430 and Rs 96 respectively.
Satyam is down 1% at Rs 521 and Wipro, Reliance Infra, SBI and Jaiprakash are all down less than 1%.
