Sensex up 124pts, BHEL gains 5%

The Sensex is still up 124 points (1.5%) at 8,197.

BHEL has moved up 4.6% (Rs 52) to Rs 1,190. Tata Steel has moved up over 4% (Rs 14) to Rs 362. Grasim is still up over 3% (Rs 38) at Rs 1,217.

Hero Honda is still up over 4% (Rs 30) at Rs 745. Maruti is now up Rs 14 at Rs 556.

Cipla is still up 3.6% (Rs 13) at Rs 372. Dr. Reddy's is still up Rs 29 at Rs 876. Ranbaxy is steady at Rs 361 - up Rs 9.

Infosys has moved up 2.4% (Rs 61) to Rs 2,649. TCS is still up Rs 24 at Rs 1,450.

Reliance has added 1.4% (Rs 11) to Rs 788. SBI is steady at Rs 839 - up Rs 8, and ONGC is up Rs 14 at Rs 946.

Advances are ahead of declines nearly 4:1 - out of 2,349 scrips traded till now, 1,806 have advanced, 493 have declined and 50 are  unchanged.
