Sensex up 124pts; BHEL, ICICI shine

The Sensex is now up 124 points to 13,261.

BHEL and ICICI Bank have rallied over 3% each to Rs 2,461 and Rs 825, repectively. Reliance Energy has advanced 2.8% to Rs 527.

Dr.Reddy's, Reliance and HDFC Bank have moved up over 2% each to Rs 791, Rs 1,288 and Rs 1,038, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro, Hero Honda and ACC have gained around 1.5% each at Rs 1,331, Rs 724 and Rs 1,012, respectively.

Reliance Communications, Gujarat Ambuja and Hindalco are up over 1% each.

Satyam has slipped nearly 1% to Rs 424.

Out of 2,492 stocks traded so far, 1,406 have advanced, 1,013 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
