Sensex up 124pts; Satyam, REL shine

The Sensex is now up 124 points at 15,856.

BHEL has zoomed 5.4% to Rs 1,861. NTPC has soared 4.3% to Rs 165.

Larsen & Toubro has surged 2.7% to Rs 2,684. Satyam and Reliance Energy have rallied 2.5% each to Rs 504 and Rs 733, respectively.

HDFC Bank and Hindalco have moved up around 1.5% each to Rs 1,238 and Rs 187, respectively.

Dr.Reddy's, ONGC and Infosys are up over 1% each at Rs 675, Rs 920 and Rs 1,966, respectively.

Mahindra & Mahindra has slipped over 2% to Rs 805. TCS, Tata Motors and ACC have dropped over 1% each to Rs 1,174, Rs 761 and Rs 1,127, respectively.
