Sensex up 126pts; Tata Motors slips 2%

The Sensex is now up 126 points at 14,604.

Bajaj Auto has soared nearly 7% to Rs 3,020. Hindalco has surged 4.5% to Rs 182.

Grasim and Larsen & Toubro have rallied nearly 3% each to Rs 2,875 and Rs 1,750, respectively.

ICICI Bank, Infosys, Hero Honda and Cipla have advanced over 2% each to Rs 980, Rs 2,325, Rs 735 and Rs 255, respectively.

Tata Motors has shed 1.8% to Rs 905. ONGC, HLL and Reliance Communications have slipped 1% each to Rs 899, Rs 207 and Rs 484, respectively.

Out of 2,678 stocks traded so far, 1,443 have advanced, 1,184 have declined and 51 are unchanged.
