Sensex up 129pts; L&T, HDFC Bank lead

The Sensex is now at new all-time high, up 129 points, at 14,793.

Larsen & Toubro and HDFC Bank have rallied around 2% each to Rs 2,285 and Rs 1,168, respectively.

ITC, Hindalco, Maruti, Reliance Communications and SBI have moved up 1.3% each to Rs 156, Rs 161, Rs 781, Rs 536 and Rs 1,550, respectively.

Hindustan Unilever, Cipla, Grasim, BHEL and Bharti Airtel are the other prominent gainers.
