Sensex up 12pts; breadth turns -ve

The Sensex is now up 12 points at 14,312.

HDFC Bank has rallied 2% to Rs 1,057. TCS has advanced 1.7% to Rs 1,270, and ACC has added 1.5% to Rs 903.

ICICI Bank and Ranbaxy are up over 1% each at Rs 946 and Rs 399, respectively.

Bajaj Auto has plunged 8.6% to Rs 2,285.

HDFC, Tata Steel, Reliance Communications and Hindalco are down over 1% each to Rs 1,688, Rs 590, Rs 494 and Rs 148, respectively.

Out of 2,116 stocks traded so far, 1,040 have declined, 1,008 have advanced and 68 are unchanged.
