Sensex up 12pts; breadth +ve

The Sensex is now up 12 points at 15,628.

ITC and Hindalco have surged over 2% each to Rs 178 and Rs 158, respectively.

ONGC has gained 1.8% at Rs 852. Reliance Communications has moved up 1.4% to Rs 547.

NTPC is up 1% at Rs 188.

Cipla has shed 1.6% to Rs 182. Tata Motors and Wipro are down 1% each at Rs 705 and Rs 474, respectively.

Out of 2,701 stocks traded so far, 1,541 have advanced, 1,098 have declined and 62 are unchanged.
