Sensex up 12pts; Cipla zooms 5%

The Sensex is now up 12 points at 15,434.

Cipla has zoomed nearly 5% to Rs 180.

Reliance Energy has soared 4% to Rs 808, and Grasim has surged 2.5% to Rs 3,008.

ACC and Infosys are up over 1% each at Rs 1,085 and Rs 1,883, respectively.

Hindalco has dropped 1.7% to Rs 158, and Tata Motors has slipped 1.5% to Rs 692.

ITC, BHEL and ONGC are down over 1% each at Rs 172, Rs 1,920 and Rs 833, respectively.

Out of 2,605 stocks traded so far, 1,585 have advanced, 939 have declined and 81 are unchanged.
