Sensex up 12pts; HDFC Bank gains 2%

The Sensex is now up 12 points at 14,312.

HDFC Bank has rallied 2% to Rs 1,057.

ICICI Bank, ITC and Hero Honda are up 1% each at Rs 946, Rs 167 and Rs 685, respectively.

Bajaj Auto has plunged 7.5% to Rs 2,314. Gujarat Ambuja has dropped over 3% to Rs 119.

Hindalco and NTPC have slipped over 1.5% each to Rs 147 and Rs 156, respectively.

Reliance Communications is down 1% at Rs 495.

 Out of 2,621 stocks traded so far, 1,462 have declined, 1,080 have advanced and 79 are unchanged.
