Sensex up 12pts, HDFC gains 2%

The Sensex is now up 12 points at 9,351.

HDFC has moved up 1.9% (Rs 24) to Rs 1,293. ONGC is still up 1.6% (Rs 9) at Rs 1,179. HDFC Bank is steady at Rs 734 - up Rs 8.

Tata Steel has moved up 1.4% (Rs 5) to Rs 381.

Infosys is now up Rs 6 at Rs 2,979. Satyam is now up Rs 2 at Rs 715.

Reliance has declined Rs 3 to Rs 857. HLL is still down a rupee at Rs 194.

Declines have moved ahead of advances - out of 2,475 scrips traded, 1,295 have declined, 1,095 have moved up and 85 are unchanged.
