Sensex up 12pts; Rel Comm gains 2%

The Sensex is now up 12 points at 12,466.

Reliance Communications has rallied 2% to Rs 354. Bajaj Auto has moved up 1.3% to Rs 3,038, and Hero Honda added 1% to Rs 782.

Hindalco and Reliance Energy are up 1% each at Rs 173 and Rs 488, respectively.

Maruti, ITC and ICICI Bank are the other notable gainers.

HDFC has shed 1.7% to Rs 1,508. Ranbaxy has slipped 1.5% to Rs 433, and Cipla has dropped 1.3% to Rs 259.

HLL and Infosys are down over 1% each to Rs 253 and Rs 1,828, respectively.

Dr.Reddy's and Wipro are the other prominent losers.
