Sensex up 130pts; HDFC, Bharti surge

The Sensex is now up 130 points at 14,261.

ONGC has gained 2.5% at Rs 916. HDFC and Bharti Airtel have advanced over 2% each to Rs 1,583 and Rs 681, respectively.

Reliance has moved up 1.8% to Rs 1,374. TCS has added 1.5% to Rs 1,324.

Reliance Communications, SBI and Larsen & Toubro are up over 1% each to Rs 448, Rs 1,238 and Rs 1,571, respectively.

Out of 2,434 stocks traded so far, 1,820 have advanced, 564 have declined and 50 are unchanged.
