Sensex up 130pts; Maruti gains 2%

The Sensex is now up 130 points at 12,483.

HDFC has soared over 3% to Rs 1,485.

TCS has advanced nearly 3% to Rs 1,075. Wipro has surged 2.5% to Rs 542. Infosys has moved up 1.7% to Rs 2,016.

Maruti has rallied 2% to Rs 952. Grasim, Bajaj Auto and Tata Motors are up nearly 2% each at Rs 2,618, Rs 3,120 and Rs 896, respectively.

Reliance, SBI, Satyam, Reliance Communications, Tata Steel and Gujarat Ambuja are the other major gainers.

Out of 2,496 stocks traded so far, 1,368 have advanced, 1,070 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
