Sensex up 131pts in early trades; SBI gains 2%

The Sensex opened with a positive gap of 133 points at 19,136, and touched a high of 19,177 in early trades.

The index is now up 131 points at 19,134.

SBI has rallied over 2% to Rs 2,318.

Maruti and DLF have surged 1.7% each to Rs 1,008 and Rs 897, respectively.

HDFC has advanced 1.5% to Rs 2,729.

Hindalco and Reliance have gained 1.3% each at Rs 183 and Rs 1,684, respectively.
