Sensex up 132pts; HDFC Bank, Wipro shines

The Sensex is now at a all-time high of 11,953 - up 132 points.

The index is now up 125 points at 11,947.

HDFC Bank has rallied 2.8% to Rs 855.

Wipro which announced 43% jump in its Q4 net profit today soared to a high of Rs 599 in early trades. The stock is now up 2.2% at Rs 583.

Grasim has surged 2% to Rs 2,287. Hindalco has spurted 1.7% to Rs 203.

Ranbaxy and Reliance are up 1.5% each at Rs 473 and Rs 904, respectively.

ITC, HDFC, Reliance Energy, Tata Steel, Gujarat Ambuja, HLL, Maruti and Bharti Tele have gained over 1% each.

Infosys has slipped nearly 1% to Rs 3,307.
