Sensex up 133pts at 12,070

The Sensex is now up 133 points at 12,071.

BHEL has surged 2.4% to Rs 2,422. Larsen & Toubro has advanced 2.2% to Rs 2,720.

Tata Steel has spurted 2.2% to Rs 669. Gujarat Ambuja and Grasim have gained 1.7% each at Rs 120 and Rs 2,417, respectively.

Bharti Tele has zoomed 2% to Rs 420. Bajaj Auto, HDFC Bank, TCS and Reliance are the other smart gainers among the Sensex stocks.

ONGC has dropped 2.4% to Rs 1,354. Infosys has declined over 1% to Rs 3,192.

Out of 2,237 stocks traded so far, 1,626 have advanced, 563 have declined and 48 are unchanged.
