Sensex up 133pts; ICICI Bank rallies 6%

The Sensex is now up 133 points at 10,956.

The index touched a high of 11,001 - up 378 points from the day's low of 10,623.

ICICI Bank has rallied 5.6% to Rs 603. Dr.Reddy's has surged nearly 5% to Rs 1,490.

Hindalco has soared 4.5% to Rs 200. Satyam, Bharti Tele, ACC and Cipla have gained over 4% each at Rs 715, Rs 384, Rs 783 and Rs 236, respectively.

HDFC Bank has dropped 3.5% to Rs 758, and Tata Power has shed 3% to Rs 533.

Out of 2,300 stocks traded so far, 1,567 have advanced, 694 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
