Sensex up 133pts; SBI, REL surge

The Sensex is now up 133 points at 14,122.

SBI has soared 2.5% to Rs 1,500. Reliance Energy (REL) has surged 2.3% to Rs 708.

ITC, Tata Steel and Reliance Communications have rallied nearly 2% each to Rs 155, Rs 557 and Rs 493, respectively.

Reliance and BHEL have moved up 1.7% each to Rs 1,778 and Rs 1,618, respectively.

ICICI Bank, Mahindra & Mahindra and Bharti Airtel have advanced 1.6% each to Rs 844, Rs 622 and Rs 826, respectively.

Ambuja Cements, NTPC, Hindalco and Tata Motors are up over 1% each at Rs 128, Rs 161, Rs 138 and Rs 641, respectively.
