Sensex up 133pts; tech stocks in demand

The Sensex is now up 133 points 12,497.

Infosys has surged 4.6% to Rs 1,994. TCS has soared over 4% to Rs 1,053. Satyam has rallied 3% at Rs 419, and Wipro has gained 2.5% at Rs 533.

HDFC has advanced over 2% to Rs 1,444. Reliance Communications, HLL, HDFC Bank and Grasim are up over 1% each at Rs 349, Rs 242, Rs 950 and Rs 2,603, respectively.

Out of 2,195 stocks traded so far, 1,377 have advanced, 750 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
