Sensex up 134pts; Ambuja Cements soar 4%

The Sensex is now up 134 points at 15,070.

Ambuja Cements has soared 3.7% to Rs 134. Reliance Energy and Reliance Communications have surged 2.7% each to Rs 757 and Rs 545, respectively.

ACC has rallied 2.4% to Rs 989. Lrsen & Toubro, Ranbaxy, SBI and Tata Steel have moved up around 2% each to Rs 2,542, Rs 376, Rs 1,580 and Rs 634, respectively.

BHEL and Reliance have gained 1.7% each at Rs 1,693 and Rs 1,828, respectively.

Maruti and Dr.Reddy's have advanced around 1.5% each to Rs 833 and Rs 631, respectively. Grasim had added 1.3% to Rs 2,885.

Bharti Airtel, NTPC and ICICI Bank are up over 1% each at Rs 873, Rs 162 and Rs 901, respectively.

Tata Motors has slipped 1.6% to Rs 656. Wipro is down 1% to Rs 471.
