Sensex up 134pts; ITC slips 4%

The Sensex is now up 134 points at 19,972.

ONGC and Larsen & Toubro have zoomed over 5% each to Rs 1,313 and Rs 4,480, respectively.

Reliance Communications has surged 4.3% to Rs 805. ICICI Bank and Ranbaxy have rallied over 3% each to Rs 1,299 and Rs 440, respectively.

BHEL and SBI have moved up nearly 2.5% each to Rs 2,677 and Rs 2,117, respectively. HDFC Bank has added 2.2% to Rs 1,690.

Hindustan Unilever and Bharti Airtel have plunged nearly 6% each to Rs 196 and Rs 949, respectively.

ITC has slipped over 4% to Rs 172. Maruti and ACC have tumbled over 3% each to Rs 1,039 and Rs 1,044, respectively.

Reliance, Wipro, HDFC and Cipla are down around 2% each to Rs 2,720, Rs 493, Rs 2,711 and Rs 175, respectively.

Out of 2,755 stocks traded so far, 1,650 have declined, 1,043 have advanced and 62 are unchanged.
