Sensex up 135pts; BHEL trades ex-bonus

The Sensex is now up 135 points at 14,546.

HDFC Bank and SBI have advanced around 2% each to Rs 1,130 and Rs 1,350, respectively.

Reliance Communications and HDFC have surged 1.7% each to Rs 510 and Rs 1,860, respectively.

Cipla and Reliance Energy have gained 1.5% each at Rs 218 and Rs 543, respectively.

Infosys, ICICI Bank, Maruti and NTPC are the other prominent gainers.

BHEL has gone ex-bonus (1:1) today and is now traded at Rs 1,405.
