Sensex up 135pts; breadth firm

The Sensex is now up 135 points at 15,038.

Ambuja Cements, Reliance Energy, NTPC and ACC have soared around 2% each to Rs 129, Rs 758, Rs 167 and Rs 998, respectively.

Tata Motors and Bharti Airtel have rallied 1.7% each to Rs 661 and Rs 875, respectively.

Wipro, SBI and Reliance have advanced 1.5% each to Rs 465, Rs 1,707 and Rs 1,808, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro, BHEL, Reliance Communications, Mahindra & Mahindra and Grasim are up over 1% each.

Out of 2,533 stocks traded so far, 1,918 have advanced, 552 have declined and 63 are unchanged.
