Sensex up 135pts; HDFC Bank gains 3%

The Sensex touched a high of 12,360, and is now up 135 points at 12,339.

HDFC Bank has surged 2.7% to Rs 917. Tata Steel and Satyam have spurted nearly 2% each to Rs 533 and Rs 817, respectively.

Reliance Communications, ONGC, SBI, TCS and Maruti have advanced around 1.5% each to Rs 345, Rs 1,151, Rs 1,031, Rs 1,003 and Rs 961, respectively.

There are no losers among the index stocks.
