Sensex up 135pts; ONGC down 2%

The Sensex is now up 135 points at 13,130.

SBI has rallied nearly 4% (Rs 46) to Rs 1,226. HDFC Bank, Gujarat Ambuja and Reliance Communications have surged around 3% each to Rs 1,065, Rs 135 and Rs 415, respectively.

ICICI Bank and Bharti Airtel have advanced around 2.5% each to Rs 825 and Rs 590, respectively.

ACC, Reliance and Satyam are up over 1.5% each to Rs 989, Rs 1,228 and Rs 448, respectively.

ONGC has slipped nearly 2% to Rs 791. Tata Steel and Cipla are down around 1.5% each to Rs 434 and Rs 237, respectively.

Out of 2,376 stocks traded so far, 1,317 have advanced, 1,009 have declined and 50 are unchanged.
