Sensex up 136pts; Bharti, REL surge

The Sensex is now up 136 points at 14,327.

Bajaj Auto has rallied over 4% to Rs 3,066. Reliance Energy and Bharti Airtel have flared up around 3.5% each to Rs 554 and Rs 754, respectively.

ONGC has surged 3% to Rs 891. Wipro and Tata Motors have moved up around 2% each to Rs 643 and Rs 891, respectively.

ICICI Bank, Reliance, Dr.Reddy's and ITC have advanced around 1.5% each to Rs 981, Rs 1,378, Rs 736 and Rs 1,273, respectively.

Hindalco has shed 1.6% to Rs 147. HLL and ITC are down over 1% each to Rs 201 and Rs 173, respectively.

Out of 2,366 stocks traded so far, 1,484 have advanced, 835 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
