L&T has gained 4.2% to Rs 3,010, HDFC is up 2.4% to Rs 2,491. Bhel and Bharti are up over 2% each. Cipla, Ranbaxy, Grasim, Tata Steel, ONGC, R-Comm, Hindalco, Maruti, Jaiprakash, NTPC and DLF have all gained over 1%.
Wipro has lost 1.45% to Rs 505, Tata Motors has declined 1.3% to Rs 575 and Satyam has come down 1.25% to Rs 520.
