Sensex up 138pts; Bharti, HDFC shine

The Sensex is now up 138 points at 10,950.

ICICI Bank has soared over 4% to Rs 592.

Bharti Airtel and HDFC have surged around 2.5% each to Rs 402 and Rs 1,265, respectively.

Tata Motors, ITC, ONGC and Grasim have gained around 1.5% each at Rs 762, Rs 171, Rs 1,179 and Rs 2,144, respectively.

HDFC Bank, Tata Steel and Reliance are up 1.3% each at Rs 814, Rs 510 and Rs 967, respectively.

Out of 2,110 stocks traded so far, 1,390 have advanced, 650 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
