Sensex up 138pts; ITC, ONGC rally 3%

The Sensex is now up 138 points at 13,520.

Tata Steel has flared up nearly 4% to Rs 472. ITC and ONGC have surged 2.7% each to Rs 173 and Rs 869, respectively.

ACC has gained 2.4% at Rs 1,042. HDFC, Cipla and Reliance Communications have added 2% each to Rs 1,581, Rs 246 and Rs 460, respectively.

Bharti Airtel and Infosys have moved up nearly 2% each to Rs 615 and Rs 2,194, respectively.

HDFC Bank has slipped 1.5% to Rs 1,022. Hero Honda has declined 1% to Rs 745.

Out of 2,534 stocks traded so far, 1,372 have advanced, 1,065 have declined and 97 are unchanged.
